When we made the decision to have our only bathroom gutted and two new bathrooms built, we knew we would have to find a place to live for a couple of months. We needed a place close to our house so we could stop by each day to meet with contractors. We also had to find a place that would allow two small dogs. There are a number of extended stay facilities very close to us but many of them have pet restrictions. Plus, we were a bit nervous about 2 adults and 2 dogs living in such a small space for 2 months. It was for all these reasons that our decision to rent through NJ Short Term Rentals was a no-brainer. The unit we found from their online listings was 5 mins from our house, would accept our 2 dogs, had plenty of space for all of us, and was available on the date we needed. A huge plus that made our decision really easy, is that we did not have to pay the NJ hotel tax we would have had to pay if we had chosen to stay with one of the extended stay hotels. It was a substantial savings. In addition to the convenience, the process for renting was easy and straightforward and everyone from NJSTR that we spoke with, or emailed to, was very friendly and extremely helpful. This was also true with their maintenance person on the premises. He was always very responsive and eager to help us out. If there is ever a reason we have to relocate in the future, we would definitely rent with NJSTR.
