Butterfly Festival

Tour the Kate Gorrie Butterfly House a the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association Butterfly Festival! On August 7 from 10 am to 4 pm, explore the beautiful butterfly house as you get up close and person to a variety of Butterflies. Tour the Insect Zoo with the kids then enjoy live music and entertainment by the Trenton Circus Squad and Eyes of the Wild show. A day your family will learn from and have fun during your temporary housing in New Jersey! Young children will delight in being a part of the famous “Butterfly and Bug Parade” led by Lady Monarch, Ms. Allison. Adults and older children can learn about watersheds and the need to protect our rivers, lakes and streams through educational hands-on exhibits. Food and drink will be available for sale and you can purchase butterfly wings, and other fun items at the Watershed Nature Shop.
